| NOT ENOUGH SUDS IN WASHING MACHINE For LG front load washers, a lack of visible soap suds is not a problem with the machine. Seeing little or no suds should be considered normal. This is due to the amount of water the machine uses. As a result, LG washers require that you use a HE detergent. HE detergent is specifically designed for high efficiency machines that use very little water, like LG’s front loaders. If the clothing is not coming out clean, this is not because there are not suds. This is usually caused by the unit being overloaded, the inlet hoses being switched (not connected properly), or too much detergent being used. The visibility of suds is not a measure of proper cleaning. In this unit, a visible amount of suds is a bad sign. |
