Poor Sound Quality – Sound Test
You can check the product for any abnormalities by performing a sound test.
If the voice in the sound test sounds normal, it may be a problem with the broadcasting signal, not the product.
Contact your service provider. (Wired, cable, Sky life, IPTV, etc.)
If the voice in the sound test does not sound normal, it is necessary to have the monitor checked by an LG service technician for an accurate diagnosis.

Use [Sound Test] in the TV settings menu to select the menus in the order as shown below.
2024 webOS24 Sound Self Diagnosis
Press the Settings button on your remote control - Setting

Follow the on-screen prompts and use your remote control to proceed to the next step.
Performing [sound test] in webOS 23
- Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on the remote control.
Select [All Settings] from the [Settings].
- Select [OLED CARE] from [General].
- Select [Device Self Care] from [OLED CARE MENU].
- Select [Sound Self-diagnosis] from [Device Self Care Menu]
- Check the sound status in the [Sound test].
The volume level changes to 20 when the test voice is outputted.
When the sound test is finished, the volume level changes back to the previous voice level.

Performing [sound test] in webOS 22
- Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on the remote control.
Select [All Settings] from the [Settings].
- Select [Sound Self-diagnosis] from [Support].
- Check the sound status in the [Sound test].
The volume level changes to 20 when the test voice is outputted.
When the sound test is finished, the volume level changes back to the previous voice level.
Performing [sound test] in webOS 4.5
- Turn on the smart TV monitor and press the [Settings] button on the remote control.
Select [All Settings] from the [Settings]. - Select [Additional Settings] from [Customer Support].
- Select [Sound Test] from [Additional Settings].
- Check the sound status in the [Sound test].
NoteIf there is no
[Settings] button on the remote control, you can access the Settings menu by pressing the
button among the buttons on the remote control.
