What should I do if the control panel buttons on my LG refrigerator are not responding?

  • Troubleshooting

If the buttons on the control panel of your LG top freezer refrigerator are not working, the control panel may be locked.
Press and hold the [Lock/Unlock] button on the control panel for 3 seconds until the Lock icon changes to unlocked. Then, try using the buttons again.

Important

  • If the buttons still do not work after unlocking the control panel, or if an error code appears, there may be an internal issue.
Please contact LG Customer Support for assistance.
  • Available features and button locations may vary by model.
  • Some models may not have a [Lock/Unlock] button. Please refer to your owner’s manual for details.
