LG Refrigerator – How to Change the Temperature Setting

5. Top Freezer

   Your temperature control can be located in the back of the freezer and / or the back of refrigerator body

6. Vertical Control Panel

   To adjust the temperature settings, press the [Refrigerator] or [Freezer] button repeatedly to lower the temperature one degree at a time. After it reaches the lowest setting, it will cycle around to the highest.

   

   Note

   • Control panel layout can vary depending on your model.

   • For all LG refrigerators, always change the setting one increment at a time, and wait 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize before making additional adjustments.

   Refrigerator

   Default: 37°F

   37°F to 43°F

   or

   1°C to 7°C

   Freezer

   Default: 0°F

   -7°F to 5°F

   or

   -23°C to -15°C

   How to Switch from °F to °C

   To change the temperature mode from ℉ to ℃ (or vice versa) press and hold the [Refrigerator] and [Freezer] buttons simultaneously for approximately five seconds. The temperature indicator on the display window switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

   Note

   Temperature ranges may vary depending on your model.

7. Horizontal Control Panel

    • The default freezer temperature is the 5th position.
    • The default refrigerator temperature is the 6th position.

    To adjust the temperature settings, press the Temperature Adjust button repeatedly to select a desired temperature between Cold and Coldest.
