[Narrator]Welcome to the LG customer support channel.
When your LG range is first plugged in or in the event that you experience a home power interruption, your display may show a PF power failure message and a flashing clock in the main display.
This does not mean that your range is malfunctioning.
These indicators were designed to notify you that the range has just been plugged in, or that there was a power interruption in your home.
Depending on your LG range model, there are varying ways that you can clear the PF message and eliminate the flashing clock in your control panel.
For electric ranges, you will most likely encounter one of the 3 scenarios.
When your cooktop elements display and your main display show the PF message, press any cooktop element ON/OFF key.
Then press the Clear Off key on the oven controls to clear the main display.
When your cooktop elements display shows a PF message and your main dysplasia is a flashing clock, press any cooktop element ON/OFF key.
Then press the Clear Off key on the oven controls to stop the flashing.
If the time needs to be reset, press the Clock key and reset the time.
When your main display shows a flashing clock, press the Clear Off key to stop the flashing.
If the time needs to be reset, press the Clock key and reset the time.
For gas ranges, there are 2 likely scenarios depending on the specific models.
When your main dysplasia is a PF message and your main dysplasia is a flashing clock, press the clear off key on the oven controls to clear the main display.
If the time needs to be reset, press the clock key and reset the time.
When your main display shows a flashing clock, press the clear off key to stop the flashing.
If the time needs to be reset, press the clock key and reset the Time.
