- LG's induction range will revolutionize the way you cook your food given you more speed, precision, and efficiency than traditional ranges. 
- Let's first set up your new range to fit your cooking needs and preferences. 
- We'll start with setting the clock to the correct time of day in order for the automatic oven timing functions to work properly. 
- Set the oven mode knob, also label oven control to the off position. 
- Press and hold Cook Time for 3 seconds, press + or - to select the desired time. 
- Press Start to enter the time and start the clock. 
- If you prefer your clock to be on a 24-hour mode also known as military time instead of a 12-hour mode. 
- Set the oven mode knob to the off position, press and hold start time for 3 seconds. 
- Press + or - to set the desired hour mode on the clock, press Start to accept the change. 
- Note: you will need to reset the clock to confirm that 24-hour mode has been set. 
- To set the oven temperature display to show either Fahrenheit or Celsius units, set the oven mode knob to the off position. 
- Press and hold start time for 3 seconds. 
- Then press Start Time setting repeatedly until unit appears in the display. 
- Press + or - to select F for Fahrenheit or C for Celsius. 
- Press Start to accept the change. 
- For the convection cooking modes, convection auto conversion automatically converts the standard recipe temperature you enter to1 suited for convection cooking by subtracting 25℉ degrees. 
- For example, if you select convection bake or convection roast and enter 350℉ degrees, the display will show 325℉ degrees after preheating. 
- If you frequently use pre converted convection recipes or wish to disable convection auto conversion, set the oven mode knob to the off position. 
- Press and hold start time for 3 seconds. 
- Then press Start Time setting repeatedly and so Auto appears in a display. 
- Press + or - to turn the feature on or off. 
- Press Start to accept the change. 
- When the oven reaches its set temperature, the preheat alarm light flashes 5 times or until the oven door is opened. 
- If you wish to turn the preheat alarm light on or off, press and hold start time setting for 3 seconds. 
- Then press start time setting repeatedly until PrE appears in the display. 
- Press + or -to turn the light on or off. 
- Press start to accept the change. 
- You can also adjust the oven's beeper volume to your preferred setting. 
- Set the oven mode knob to the off position. 
- Press and hold start time for 3 seconds. 
- Then press Start time setting repeatedly until beep appears in the display. 
- Press + or -to select the desired volume. 
- Press Start to accept the change. 
- You can turn on or off the cooktop beeper if preferred. 
- When you first turn on the element, a tone will sound. 
- Indicating that the heating element is active, set the oven mode knob to the off position. 
- Press and hold start time setting for 3 seconds. 
- Then press start time setting repeatedly until CtOP appears in the display. 
- Press + or -to turn the beep on or off. 
- Press Start to accept the change. 
- The Lockout safety feature helps prevent children from using the range unsupervised. 
- The feature automatically locks the oven door and prevents most oven controls from being turned on. 
- Set the oven knob to the off position. 
- Press and hold Probe/Lock Out for 3 seconds the lock melody sounds. 
- Loc appears in a display. 
- And the lock icon blinks in a display. 
- Once the oven door is locked, the lock indicator stops blinking and remains. 
- To deactivate the Lockout feature, press and hold Probe/Lock Out for 3 seconds.
