Why does my TV have a Privacy Policy?

function Function

Privacy policies are commonplace for Internet-enabled products and services like an LG Smart TV. Nearly all Internet-based services (such as Netflix, Amazon, Apple, and other Internet-enabled television manufacturers) have privacy policies that explain what information the service collects from users. LG is no different in that regard. LG’s new privacy policy is designed to clearly tell customers what information is collected and how that information may be used. LG also wanted to give customers greater control over what information is collected, and it designed its new agreements with that goal in mind. For example, LG’s new agreements allow users to prevent any personalised advertising or collection of viewing information if that is what they want.
