Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great picture - poor connectivity Hands down best picture quality from TV's I have ever owned, but... Very bad WiFi performance: on 5G I'm barely reaching 70 Mb/s. One would think that a wire connection will solve the issue? Why do you think LG doesn't state The Wire connectivity speed? Because of its ridiculous 100Mb/s. Yes in 21 century someone still installs 100Mb Ethernet ports on quite expensive Smart TV with "Ai" features. This means you will have a problem (a lot of buffering!) streaming 4K HDR content from your LAN. Can LG elaborate on what was the reason for installing 100Mb port instead of 1Gb???

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Made screen mirror with Android more difficult. I written a longer review but it didn't let me post it so im cutting out all the nice stuff I said about the tv (picture and sound). the issues in having are. 1) Mirror cast with Android become very difficult. 2) this is the main problem, no ads or popup blocker and webos pouses the video instead of continuing after the as finish, we only watch web based TV from Russia so this TV is practically useless for that purpose 3) nearly empty app store

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent TV with some missing features Re LGOLED55C9PLA This TV is awesome, had only a few weeks, but so very impressed with the deep blacks, never before have I seen so much detail, especially with movies with lots of dark scenes. Sound is good also, thought would need a sound bar, but not really necessary unless you need the ‘ cinema experience. The freesat offering is a little confusing, LG tell me its not fully implemented, but can’t actually state what’s missing, although I was told the TV guide preview window only works for a few seconds, of at all, but mine stays ( with audio ) for a full 4 minutes before going full screen. The TV has the ability to save Eleven, yes 11 favourite channel settings, all named by the user, why so many I. Ant begin to imagine. Although accessing them via the TV guide is cumbersome, would have been better to have a ‘ FAV’ button on the remote. Can’t get the BBC red button text service, whereas it was available in my previous freesat TV ( although this service ends Jan 2020 so maybe not an issue really ) Would like to see an option to save video & audio settings to named file and save / restore to / from a usb handy to make small changes and if no good, can easily restore a previous setup. The horizontal HDMI slots to the left side of the TV is not a good idea, easy to see cables hanging out. Should be easy to view satellite signal and quality strengths without deleting all satellite channels in the process. Get a really annoying information only pop up, telling me I have a humax box connected, this appears every 30 minutes, also resulting in the screen dimming.....have asked LG to add an option to disable device notification pop ups....hopefully will happen.....have had to unplug my humax box, till it’s sorted. Would like to be able to rename attached hard drives....and also delete folders, not just video files.... All in all a good TV, but not everything has been thought through enough...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from App disappointment I bought this tv a month ago. TV itself works fine but Amazon Prime Video keeps freezing and locking up. Having also bought Eurosport, there is no app for this in the LG Content Store and Eurosport advise that it is incompatible with LG televisions. Altogether, I am very disappointed with this television at the moment and my attempts to discover why Amazon Prime Video keeps freezing are going nowhere with either the retailer or LG. I've spent ages checking the network and re-installing the app, all to no avail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in class This 4k OLED with Dolby Vision is amazing. Not much more can be said. HDMI ports are new 2.1 spec and in terms of performance it's class leading. Blacker blacks and whiter whites. 5/5

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing picture quality Amazing tv, quality of picture is best I ever had specially the blacks. Software so far very quick and easy. Only thing I didn't like is alexa, its connected but everything I ask alexa for something it doesn't acknowledge, I think it's an issue with thinQ skill on alexa.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electronic Engineer Great tv ,picture and motion handling ,same ball park as other big players . One drop , the ethernet port or LAN is 100Mps. Thats bad as im waching content in 4k 60 hz HDR/DolbyVision and Dolby Atmos with a bitrate higher than 150Mbs. I can't on this tv through LAN ,its buffering and the experience ruined . Would be verry welcome a 1Gb ethernet port. No need wifi in me home for this.
