Compatible with 65QNED85TAA.AUS

Asked by: NolaJoe
Hello, NolaJoe. The LG Soundbar with Dolby Atmos® 9.1.5 Channel, Model # S95QR, supports Bluetooth. It features an HDMI eARC port and an Optical Digital Audio Input, so it can be paired via Bluetooth with the LG 65-inch Class QNED 4K LED 65QNED85TAA Series TV with webOS 24, Model # 65QNED85TAA. Alternatively, you can connect its HDMI eARC to the HDMI eARc port (HDMI 3) on the TV, or connect its Optical Digital Audio Input to the TV's optical Digital Audio Output. The TV does not support Dolby Atmos®, so even though it is supported on the Soundbar, you will not get Dolby Atmos®...^Ivan.

I am very interested in this sound bar with a new tv we are buying. Are the rear speakers wired or wireless? If wireless, what powers them?

Asked by: Grandpug2017
Hello. The rear speakers for the LG Soundbar with Dolby Atmos® 9.1.5 Channel, Model # S95QR, are truly wireless. They do not require a receiver or speaker wires. However, they still need to be plugged into an outlet with the power cable. Companies are developing 'true' wireless charging that works over the air so you can power up at a distance. But don't throw away your charging cable just yet. The basic idea of wireless power transfer is not new, as evidenced by Nikola Tesla’s 1907 patent application for an “apparatus for transmitting electrical energy.” But 115 years later, the technology may finally be reaching a mature enough level to find regular use in a variety of applications...^Ivan.

Will this work with a Sony Bravia OLED?

Asked by: Schrodinger Cat
Hey there! This soundbar is compatible with Sony Bravia OLED TVs. Connecting your S95QR to your Sony Bravia OLED TV is straightforward and can be achieved using an HDMI or an optical cable. Follow these steps for a seamless connection: 1. HDMI Connection: - Begin by connecting one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port on the soundbar. - Next, connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your Sony Bravia OLED TV. - Ensure the HDMI ARC function is activated on both the soundbar and the TV. This setting is typically found in your TV's audio or sound settings menu. - After establishing the connection, your TV's audio will now be through the S95QR soundbar. 2. Optical Connection: - Connect one end of the optical cable to the Optical Digital Audio Out port on your Sony Bravia OLED TV. - Then, connect the opposite end of the optical cable to the Optical Digital Audio In port on the soundbar. - Modify the audio output setting on your TV to "Optical" or "Digit" l Audio" Out," found in the audio" settings menu. - This setup will transmit your TV's sound through the S95QR soundbar. If you encounter any challenges during the setup process or have additional inquiries, we're here to assist. Feel free to contact us. ^Anthony

How are the rear speakers powered? I have an existing DTS 5.1 setup and am considering replacing with the 9.1 Soundbar configuration, however wondering how the rear speakers would need to get power if I can’t use the existing speaker wires.

Asked by: KC Trav
Hey there. These LG soundbar rear speakers have their own power outlet. Like the subwoofer and main soundbar, you can connect them behind your couch and sync them to the receiver. For more questions, private message us on social media @LGUSSupport. We're just a click away! ^David
