Solar Cell Production Process

At LG Solar, quality assurance for every module is our top priority. We use the most up-to-date, advanced manufacturing processes in the production of each cell, including a thorough examination that eliminates any defects so only the highest quality cells are used for production.

Module Production Process

LG's solar modules are expertly crafted to deliver optimum output and ensure reliable operation. We use a number of manufacturing processes to provide maximum results. Each module is simulated for output and classified accordingly at the end of the manufacturing process.

LG Quality Assurance System

Before our modules are distributed, they undergo a broad range of tests that guarantee top-quality production. All tests are carried out at in our in-house test laboratory, which is certified by the TÜV Rheinland and Underwriters Laboratories, and satisfies all the requirements for the latest test procedures.

Maximum Load Capacity

LG Solar modules are characterized by their maximum load capacity. Our unique frame design can withstand extreme stresses and strains. Every module on a roof must perform well, even when facing adverse environmental factors.

LG Electronics is an official solar cell module test laboratory certified by TUV Rhineland and Underwriters Laboratories Inc.
In October 2009, the test laboratory at LG Electronics became an official solar cell module test laboratory certified by TÜV Rhineland and Underwriters Laboratories Inc. LG Electronics has met the core standard specifications for solar cell modules, which were tested for performance and safety by analyzing solar light specifications and field failures.
