At a Glance

LG all-in-one washers do not have a lint filter that requires cleaning. However, it is recommended you check the drain pump filter often, as lint may start to accumulate in this area.

Clean the drum and door gasket

If the gasket has not been cleaned for a while, lint or other materials may be transferred to clothing.

Sort laundry fabric type

Separate laundry that can form a lot of lint (towels, diapers, wool clothes, etc.) from laundry that can attract a lot of lint (synthetic laundry) before drying.

Remove paper and lint from pockets

Make sure that there is no lint-causing tissue paper or foreign objects in any pockets in the laundry.

Clean the drain pump filter

Remove lost items and any lint and debris from the pump filter. To clear any buildup, wash thoroughly by hand with a soft brush or sponge.
