Try This
1. Prepare installation tools.
Cross headed screw driver, ruler, knife, tape, 3mm(0.11in) electrical motor drill
2. Measuring the internal length of window and assembling the installation board.
Measure the length of window and assemble the installation board according to the length shown in the user manual.
If the window is 58cm (22.83in) or shorter, you should cut the basic installation plate.
If the window is 153cm (60.23in) or longer, you need to purchase an extended installation plate. (LG Electronics Service Center)

3. Install the fixing clips.
Insert the fixing clip to the both tips of the installation board.
4. After adjusting the length of installation board, install it in the window edge.
5. Fixing the installation board.
Insert the installation board to the window edge and fix the four locations on the both sides of installation board with screws.
6. Combine the hose and the installation board.
Insert the hose to the groove of the circular outlet at the tip of the hose and the groove of the instillation board and turn it CCW to combine them.
7. Insulate the gap of the installation board.
Insulate the gap by blocking the both sides of installation board and the window gap with insulation material.
8. Fix the window fixing bracket.
To make sure the window opens outside, install a window fixing bracket.
9. Insulate the window gap.
After cutting the insulation material in the window gap in accordance with the window length, insert it into the window gap.
10. Arrange the hose length.
