LG Dryer – Proper Venting and Installation Tips

When installing your LG dryer, it is important to properly install your dryer vent to maximize dryer performance and prevent any issues from occurring.

1The exhaust duct should be as short as possible.

2Verify the exhaust hose is completely straight or in an S curve. (pictured below).

3Ensure the exhaust duct is not kinked, crushed, or dented.

4Avoid using plastic or vinyl ducting.

Ventilation System Requirements

The maximum run for the home ventilation should not exceed 65 ft. Deduct 6 ft. (1.8 m) for each additional elbow.

Note

Do not use more than four 90° elbows.
