it is essential to use a PD charger when connecting the smartphone and monitor.
Try this.
If the monitor does not display as expected
Verify whether the device to be connected with the monitor supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) and USB Power Delivery (USB PD).
When connecting the smartphone and monitor, plug the USB-C cable into the monitor first, then the other end into the smartphone.
If the monitor has no power
Ensure that the USB-C cable enclosed in the monitor purchase is correctly connected to both the monitor and device.
Connecting the monitor to a PC
Connect the USB-C port of the monitor and PC using a USB-C cable.
- Use the USB-C cable provided with the monitor or an LG-certified cable.
Display may appear abnormal if an uncertified cable is used. - If the PC connected to the monitor runs out of battery, connection to the monitor may be affected.
