DE Error Code
A dE error code means that the washer was not able to lock the drawer. This might be as a result of the drawer is not closed properly or the drawer is closed, but not locked.

1- Turn off the washer and pull the drawer open.

2- Check for items caught under the lid, including shipping material or clothing.

3- Close the drawer firmly.

4- Make sure that the lid is closed fully and press the Start/Pause button.

This is not an error, it is a special drain feature. DR indicates that the unit has timed out, and it is automatically draining the water in the unit.
This may happen in any of these two situations:

2- If the unit is powered on and left idle for 4 minutes without starting a cycle.
In both cases, DR will display to identify the action of the unit.

EE Error Code
The EE error code on an LG washing machine indicates a problem with the main control board's EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory).
