With your convenience in mind, your LG washer and dryer come equipped with an illuminating led drum light to help maximize tub visibility.

Follow these steps to manually activate the drum light on your LG washer or dryer.

Make sure that the washer or dryer is powered on. Touch and hold the relevant shared drum light button for three seconds.

How to Activate Drum Light:

Note
The buttons for the drum light and drum light availability will vary depending on your washer model.

Press and hold the Extra Rinse button for 3 seconds during the cycle to turn on the drum light.

1Press the check button on the display.

2Press the Options button on the display.

3Turn the dial to the Drum Light function.

4Press the check button on the display, the light will come on.

5Turn the ring of the display again to access the “Drum Light Off”, the selection will change, then you can turn off the drum light with the check button.

Press and hold the Pre-wash button for 3 seconds during the cycle to turn on the drum light.
