LG Washer - Installation and Assembly Sequence for an LG SideKick

At a Glance

The installation and disassembly methods for an LG SideKick™ washer shown below are supplied to help customers understand the process. Product installation and disassembly should be done by an LG Electronics service technician.

Try This

1. The product must be moved by two people. When using a cart, be sure to use a heavy mat to protect the floor.

2. Initially, move the product to the front of the final installation site.

3. Check that the 4 legs of the front-load washing machine are completely locked.
(If not completely locked, it cannot be assembled to the SideKick™.)

4. Prepare the  SideKick™ in the space where it will be installed, and place the front load washing machine on top of the  SideKick™.

5. In order to assemble the front load washing machine to the  SideKick™, securely fasten the 4 screws in each corner, for a total of 16 screws.

Warning!

If the screws are not fastened correctly, vibration and noise that will not be obvious during installation may occur during machine use. This may cause accidents such as the product overturning. Therefore, the screws must be fastened securely.

6. Connecting a water supply hose

Connect the drum washing machine on top, the faucet on the middle, and the water hose on the mini wash on the bottom

Connect the cold water hose of the front load washing machine to the COLD faucet correctly.

7. Connecting a drain hose

Install the provided drain hose face up.
Be sure to fasten the clamp at the end.
Connect the drain hose of the front load washing machine and the  SideKick™ to the provided drain connector.

8. Leveling

Level the washer using a level and leg stoppers as necessary. (Use a jig for leveling)
Level the washer and attach a non-slip sheet at the bottom of the 2 front legs.
Level the washer by loosening the bottom legs in the direction of the vibration that increases when pushing the front left and right sides of the washer diagonally while in spin mode.

Adjust the horizontal with a jig and use a height adjustment plate and a non-slip sheet

Use a non-slip pad or tape if the floor is slippery.
