Good until it breaks
I love the sidekick pedestal washer—-until it broke in April 2024. I called LG to get it serviced under its Home Depot 5-year warranty. They sent a technician on May 2, 2024 from Lamb Group Appliance Service in Richmond, VA. The tech said it either needs to be replaced with a new one or the sensor boards need to be replaced. All it does is fill with water and overflow, no draining. He said someone would be in touch, but both my husband and I called and left messages with Lamb Geoup to no reply. They never pick up the phone at Lamb Group, so all you can do is leave messages. My husband finally got a text stating that the repair was complete and thanked us for using Asurion on the morning of May 10, 2024. If we had questions to call 888-864-0499. The service request was number 1830202431. I called that 888 number the same day on Friday, May 10, 2024. The customer service manager said we would get an email from another company to give a “second opinion”. We still have received and/or heard nothing as of May 14, 2024. Very poor customer service all around. I think and hope LG can do better than this in the future. I hope my big washer doesn’t break, or I will likely have to buy a new washer and it won’t be LG.
