BD- Vudu- Cannot Stream Titles

Sometimes this occurs due to a Vudu server issue however a few things will need to be checked first to narrow down the issue.

Does This Happen With Every Title or Only With One?

If this happens with only one title, check to see if you have the sufficient network speed to stream from Vudu.

Perform a Network Speed Test

The network speed can be tested by using the Vudu application installed on the device. Use the following steps to check the network speed:

Select Vudu from the Premium Apps Menu.

Scroll over to the My Vudu tab from the Vudu home page.

Highlight Info & Settings in the My Vudu page.

Start the test and allow the minute to elapse to get a good idea of what bandwidth you have available for wired/wireless streaming.

Note: For the best streaming experience, LG recommends a download speed of at least 5 Mbps. If your network speed meets the requirements, check for software updates.

If this happens with all titles, troubleshoot the home wired/wireless network.

Deactivate then Reactivate the Application

Take the LG remote and select the Home button.

Select Setup.

Scroll down and choose the Network Menu.

Go to Vudu.

Select Vudu Deactivation.

Once the Vudu application has been deactivated, the player will prompt you to reactivate the application once you reenter Vudu from the Premium menu.

Note: If you have plenty of bandwidth available with a strong wired/wireless connection and buffering issues persist, please contact Vudu Customer Care at 1-888-554-8838.
