If your LG TV screen flickers or goes blank, this usually happens when the broadcast signal is weak or the connection to an external device, such as a set-top box, is unstable. Use your remote to open the TV menu and check if it appears normally.
If the menu is clear, reconnect your HDMI cable or check the broadcast signal strength.
Press the volume or Settings button on your remote to check if the menu appears normally.
If the menu is clear, the issue is likely with an external device or cable. If the menu also flickers, contact LG Customer Support.
Turn off your TV and set-top box.
Disconnect the HDMI cable from the back of your TV, and then reconnect it securely.
Press the Settings (gear icon) or Mute button on your remote three times.
If the issue persists after following the steps above, you can get further support through LG Chatbot on our website or by requesting a technician visit.
Move left or right to check the contents.
