TV- USB File Playback


USB Storage devices can be attached to current HDTVs and Smart TVs to view picture, video, and audio files.

Connecting the USB device

Connect the USB device to the TV’s USB IN port.

To disconnect a USB storage device:

Select the Q. Menu button on the LG TV remote.

Use the navigational arrows to scroll to USB device and select EJECT.

Disconnect the USB device after the prompt says it is safe to remove.

The TV recognizes only a USB storage device. Phones or other devices that would require installation of a device driver or other software are not recognized nor supported.

If you connect a USB storage device to the TV through a USB hub, your TV may not recognize the USB storage device.

Only use a USB storage device which has normal music or image files.

Use only USB devices that are formatted as FAT 32 or NTFS.

Browsing Files

Connect a USB storage device.

Press HOME to access the Home screen.

Use the navigational arrows to scroll to SmartShare and press ENTER.

Scroll to the USB device and press ENTER.

Use the arrow keys to scroll to All Media, Movie List, Photo List or Music List.

Select the desired file and press ENTER.
