To clean the filter in your LG Split Air Conditioner, ensure the unit is turned off and completely unplugged from the power source for safety. Gently lift the front panel of the indoor unit from both sides until it clicks into a locked, open position. Slide the mesh filters downward to remove them from the chassis. Take the filters to a sink or bathroom and rinse them thoroughly under lukewarm running water to wash away accumulated dust and debris; for stubborn buildup, use a soft sponge with a small amount of neutral detergent.
