CL / Child Lock Indicator

Cause and Symptoms

CL appearing on the appliance display panel stands for CHILD LOCK which is a very simple Panel Lock Mechanism used to prevent children from operating the washing machine. [Activating or deactivating this option varies by model].

Setting and Inactivation

For more than 3 seconds, press and hold down both buttons sharing the child lock symbol between them. You will t hen hear the beep alerting you feature has just been a ctivated or deactivated. Enabling or disabling feature in executed the exact same way.
