Water Spraying from the Front

If your air conditioner is spraying water from the front, it is important to make sure that the unit is draining as much as possible. Remove the drain plug from the back outside of the unit. If the drain plug is removed and the unit is tilted properly, then the water will drain properly.

Water spraying from the front can happen when the fan behind the front grille picks up water and slings it out the air vent. Normally, the water drains before it reaches a high enough level for this to happen, but when it is very humid out, or raining, the water may collect faster than it drains. As long as the unit is tilted towards the back, it will not overflow from the front of the unit.
