Hard Reset Guide for P705 (Optimus L7):


In case a P705 gets pattern locked & user does not remember the pattern,

then the phone can be unlocked by clicking on the "forgot pattern"  option in lock screen.

Phone will prompt for the Gmail ID & password which was being used in the phone.

By entering the Gmail user ID & Password, phone can be unlocked.


However if user does not remember the Gmail ID & Password details or if user has not logged

in with his Gmail ID, then the phone can be unlocked by doing Hard Reset.


The process to do hard reset for P705 is explained as under :


In Power Off condition, Press & Hold "Volume Down key" & "Power key" together with your left hand. 

When the LED at the bottom of the phone lights up, touch & hold the "menu" key with your right hand

Menu key should be pressed immediately before the screen displays the LG logo.


Make sure that your left hand is still holding the "Vol Down" & "power"


Release the Power key, when phone vibrates.

When LG logo is displayed, then continue to hold other keys for about two seconds , & then release all

keys at the same time, before the LG logo dispapeares.


Leave the phone for a minute to allow the hard reset to take place. after that phone will reboot. 



Note : Plz note that Hard Reset will delete data from the phone memory.
