What should I do to protect the outdoor unit of LG Split AC

▶   Outdoor unit is exposed to rain and others  

  Symptom

            Outdoor unit is exposed to rain and snow.

  How to fix

            1. As the outdoor is designed to be used outdoors, such as a vehicle, snow or rain should not affect the product performance .

            2. The outdoor unit will work normally when not protected with a cover in winter.
                To keep the outdoor unit from snow or rain, try installing a screen over the unit.

  ▶ What should I do when the outdoor unit is flooded?

  Symptom

             Outdoor unit is flooded.

  Cause

             Electric circuits are equipped inside the outdoor unit. Flooding can lead to electric leakage or product damage.

  How to fix

             There is a risk of electric shock . Please unplug the power cord or pull down the circuit breaker.

             Contact the service center for technical assistance.
