How to Use LG ThinQ
Microphone – Mic permission is required for ThinQ app to record your voice to run product diagnosis.
Your Location –Access to your location is required for ThinQ app to obtain weather information and search for Wi-Fi networks nearby.
Storage – Storage permission is required for ThinQ app to use additional features such as camera for specific products including oven and refrigerator and save the data.
Phone – Phone permission is required for ThinQ app to read the device identifiers such as unique Android device ID.
Camera – Camera permission is required for ThinQ app to use additional camera features for specific products including oven, refrigerator, and water purifier.
* iOS Access Permission and Description
Location Permission –
ThinQ app needs access to your location to obtain weather information and your product’s SSID at the time of product registration.
(Starting with iOS 13 and later versions, location permission is required for ThinQ app to obtain SSID information)
