Dishwasher inverter DirectDrive LG 3850DD3006A is the worst. Fixed numerous times still sounds like garburator , does NOT clean dishes. We actually hand wash our dishes now LG Microwave LG LMV1813ST turntable turns around and sounds like grinding noise

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lots of Error Codes and Ice Maker Issues Had this fridge now for several years and have had MANY issues like ice maker (replaced 3 times) error codes FF & DH fairly constant. Replaced Freezer Fan and Defrost Heater now. Seals may need to be changed as well as doors leveled again from normal wear (first fridge that I have ever had to do this). If your an appliance tech it's a great fridge that will keep you busy, I have learned to pull this fridge apart several times and I am getting good at it. What really get me is 1st it only has a 1yr warranty, if LG was confident about their products then it should be 5yr on core parts like PCB, Fan, DH, Ice Maker, etc. I HATE how today we just throw them out and buy a new one due to cost to fix. I remember when I was a kid we had our fridge for 15 - 20 years no problem.I would be very scared to purchase a new LG fridge we were looking at the new models and for $5K there just seems like more parts to go bad and still only 1yr warranty. Sounds like LG does't put a lot of faith in their products that should last for a good 10 years if taken care of.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing but headache and problems After 3 years the tubing that leads the water to the fridge keeps breaking and leaking. I contacted LG but no worthwhile help. I eventually changed as much of the tubing as possible. Now the tube leaks right up to where the housing of the water filter is. It appears that I will need to get someone change all the original water tubing on the fridge at my expense. I have never been more disappointed! The fridge itself works okay but I am not encouraged to buy ANY LG products as a result of my experience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This fridge is a run as far away as you can model. as a matter of fact the whole lg line up is junk! no parts, no service, no nothing. I replace my 16 year old appliances with lg from future shop, now best buy. I bought the supposedly top of the line lg stove, fridge and dishwasher with extended warr. at about years in the top rack on the dish washer which was advertised to plastic coated stainless rusted out and dripped rust spots all over the silverware. i called futureshop and they said to call the extended warr. people. so i did and they said to call this local repair rep. 3 weeks later he shows up and looks at the rack and said he has to order one. six months goes buy and after many non returned calls he calls and says he has the rack. he shows up and it's broken. 3 months later, still nothing. I am on the phone to future shop, the extended warr. company, lg, the repair guy and nothing. so i grabed my rusted out rack and went down to future shop and started opening all the dishwashers on display until i found a similar rack and took it out. a sales lady asked if she could help and i said no, i found what i was looking for and i walked out with the rack. 3 months later the the dishwasher went up in smoke. a wiring harness in the door was getting wet and it shorted out and melted. I took out the dishwasher and tossed it off my deck. My fridge has since had several water lines ( factory custom molded and sized water line split and flood my kitchen. the hose size is 5/16" and not common. 1/4 and 3/8 are the choices available in the after market. so after making several repairs using air brake hose i purchased from the local truck shop for pennies, i got smart and switched all the factory hose. so after a year, i have another flood, this time it's the presure control valve. so i have found a company that had the valve for 85.00 so i ordered it. i also ordered new door latches and seal strips as they are also broken. so my bill for this repair for parts only is just over 200.00. and i do my own r&r. All the local repair shops no longer want to deal with lg as the parts are next to impossible to get, and take forever to arrive. so my stove hasnt broke yet, but from new at 450 degrees, it is only 418 inside the oven. apparently, that's because it's a convection oven.... ya right, tell me another story. anyway, buyer beware.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Repairs are a nightmare The fridge is 5 years old and is already broken. Repairs are ridiculously expensive as LG does not sell parts to independent repair shops and techs. To have an LG tech come in just to see the fridge is $250 and this does not even include parts or future labour! Plastic shelving inside the fridge is flimsy and breaks very easily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality its not even six years and we had problem after problem, and like most of the people reviews, you cant even get the parts to fix this fridge, right now the fridge doesnt even work properly as we have an error code that indicates problem with the blower/duct fan, which of course you cant buy anymore(discontinued) i was told by sears that the whole grill unit with both fans can be bought, so we're stuck at the moment, whether to pour more money on this junk or just buy a new one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Issues and money It's only 6 yrs old and is breaking down constantly. Costs $200 per issue to fix since it's off warranty. This is a terrible fridge. LG has terrible quality. All my LG appliances that came with the house have issues. ALL OF THEM.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too many issues with this fridge We have had sears come by to fix various issues with this fridge a number of times. The last time they could not even get the parts to fix the ice maker and so they returned the extra amount we paid for warranty.
