EXTERIOR REFRIGERATOR PANELS
Are exterior side panels of the refrigerator hot?
To prevent condensation forming near doors, the refrigerator features a warm line pipe on the
sides by extending condenser tubing. The appliance’s side panels may get hotter as condensation
gets more difficult dealing with when temperature rises in summer.
When the appliance runs for the first time or during summer months, the compressor operates
longer to produce cool air and as such generates much heat. It is a normal phenomenon and not
a defect of the appliance. In summer, the refrigerator may alternatively and repeatedly get hot and
cold due to low heat radiation. Try to install the refrigerator where air circulates well and keep a
distance of at least 5 centimeters from back and both sides of the wall to the refrigerator.
※ Like a vehicle motor appears to be hotter in summer, refrigerators can also be
found hot when temperature rises in summer.
Keep some distance between the appliance and surrounding walls during summer
and cleaning dust from the back of the product also helps to cool (If it gets too hot
in the kitchen, try to place a fan near the refrigerator to help disperse out the heat).
