Frost buildup from hot food stored in freezer
When hot food is placed in the freezer before allowing it to cool down a bit, water vapor
(condensation) created by the food will stick to the freezer compartment surface to form frost.
Sudden formation of frost on the freezer compartment ceiling mostly occurs when the door is
not closed tightly.
Cool hot food first before placing it in the freezer or refrigerator compartment.
Wipe clean the frost off the freezer compartment ceiling with a warm wet cloth.
