GREATER THAN USUAL REFRESH RATES TO OPTIMIZE VIDEO GAMING
Smoother video gaming experiences are provided by increasing the refresh rate, also known as number of images per second, not only from peripheral’s graphic card but by matching synchronism to the display monitor. The greater the refresh rate, the smoother the visual on screen and much better the experience.
Increased refresh rate reduces the tearing and stuttering that occur between a graphic card’s frame rate and a monitor’s refresh rate. With FreeSync or G-SYNC, gamers can experience seamless, fluid movement throughout their video gaming.
Monitors Supporting AMD FreeSync

- Do not attempt to run both FreeSync and 1ms MBR at the same time.
- Disable HDMI Compatibility Mode to take advantage of 1440p @ 144Hz
Monitors Supporting NVIDIA G-SYNC
If pushing home-made video content from your smartphone over to the monitor please avoid monitor running any greater than 60Hz refresh rates that are not a multiple of 60 and please disable 1ms Motion Blur Reduction option else, there will be very noticeable flickering appearing on screen.
Smartphone captured video is executed at 30 or 60fps and, ultimately, best picture reproduction on a large screen panel display other than conventional 60Hz is any multiples of 60 and nothing else. Otherwise, picture quality will suffer greatly.
