Transferring memos to another device
Quickmemos can be transferred to another phone or computer. Executing such task is done by SHARING.
First, access the QuickMemo you wish to transfer.
Tap the More Options icon on the far right. Select SHARE from the option menu.
If you plan on transferring the document to a PC, select TEXT and IMAGES.
Reason being, there is no QuickMemo App for computers that would allow you to open these documents on your PC.
If you plan on transferring for sake of ARCHIVING and never editing the file, you may choose to share the memo as a screenshot or PDF document.
If you plan on transferring to another LG smartphone device, then you may select QuickMemo+ OPTION to share memo.
Choose best method to share the memo from the list of possibilities. Bluetooth, Google Drive or Cloud uploading would be more suited to transfer to PC.
A few customers have commented that some of the aforementioned menu options are NOT available on their phone such as LG Stylo 4.
In that case, the only alternative is to SHARE a selected few memos or entire list and sent it to a secondary e-mail account of yours.
Regrettably, as mentioned earlier on, QuickMemo+ files being LG proprietary technology, cannot be read unless the LG QuickMemo+ app is installed on device.
So, for those who wish to keep their QuickMemo+ information and transfer it to another digital device such as a personal computer will need to execute following instructions :
1. Access QuickMemo+ app on your LG smartphone.
2. Tap ( ⁞ ) kebab menu I top right corner.
The kebab menu, also known as the three-dot menu and the vertical three-dot menu, is an icon used to open a menu with additional options. The icon is usually located at the top right or top of a screen or window.
3. Tap SHARE option.
4. Either select ALL memos or specific items.
5. Tap the SHARE icon at the bottom of the screen.
6. Tap PDF files otherwise files will be unreadable at other end.
As long as you have an e-mail account registered to your phone, the selected memo will be automatically converted to individual PDF files and attached to e-mail to be sent.
7. Select recipient.
8. Type in SUBJECT and nature of message (optional).
9. Tap the SEND icon at the top between file attachment icon and kebab menu.
