E. Terms & Conditions for AMC (LG Best Care Plan):

Under this AMC, LGEIL undertakes to maintain your product used at the registered address, subject to terms and conditions mentioned hereinafter.

• The AMC shall be valid form the date of invoice/purchase.
• Acceptance/ renewal of AMC shall be at the sole discretion of LGEIL.
• Renewal of the AMC after its expiry or after the expiry of the standard warranty period of the product, will be at the sole discretion of LGEIL and depending upon the model / age of the product and usage period. The product must be in good working condition and the same to be certified by the authorised representative of LGEIL, before this AMC becomes effective. The customer shall pay the necessary charges in the first instance for rendering the equipment so workable, for which LGEIL will submit an estimate for approval. This clause does not apply if a AMC is purchased prior to the of the standard warranty or previous AMC.
• In the event of any complaint, please quote your name, address and the contract number to the LGEIL’s call center only. In order to enable LGEIL to discharge its obligation under this AMC, the customer shall notify in writing any change in his address. In default whereof, LGEIL shall not be obliged to perform its obligations under this AMC till it receives such an intimation from the customer. In such an event the removal and re-installation of the Product / Attachment will be done at an additional cost as per the rates prevailing on that date.
• The AMC shall not cover repair/service under the following circumstances
  
  • Damage caused to the product due to floods, fire, accident, riot, breakage, pest, misuse, improper or negligent use, tampering, and leakage from pipes etc.
  • Damage caused to the product due to failure to observe the operating instructions and precautions as mentioned in User's Manual
  • Defects due to usage of non-recommended spares.
  • Visits for customers re-training, for dismantling or for re-installation.
  • Defects / Failures resulting from servicing / repairs done by a person other than the authorised representative of LGEIL.
  • With regard to repairing the existing worn-out / defective part(s) or replacing the same and ascertaining the presence of above circumstances, the decision of LGEIL shall be final. In any such event, LGEIL will submit a prior estimate for approval or bill for the work carried out at the prevailing rates
• In the event of the inability to provide services under this AMC due to non-availability of spares /parts, LGEIL’s depreciation policy shall apply.
• LGEIL or its authorised agents will be entitled to retain any defective parts replaced during this AMC.
• While every effort shall be made to give preferential attention to emergency breakdown of the equipment, the LGEIL shall not be held responsible for any loss arising.
• The AMC is neither terminable before the expiry period nor transferable in the event of resale / gift to any other person.
• The equipment brought to the service center will remain there at customer risk and the LGEIL will not be responsible for any damages caused due to the factors beyond its control.
• Damage to the product or any parts due to transportation / shifting is not covered under this AMC.
• Scope of these terms & conditions is to attend to breakdown calls (Technical failure, Part failure, sealed system leakages). Customer shall be required to intimate about such breakdown by getting complaint registered at LGEIL’s Call Centre.
• The AMC shall cover the following parts under the normal product warranty based on selected plan code
  HA/AC Products: Compressor, Thermostat, Relay, OLP, Fan Motors, Timers, PCB, Heaters, Air dampers, Ice maker, temperature sensors, Evaporators, Condensers, Refrigerant charging, Driers, Capillary, Blowers, Fan Blade, Control box, Magnetron, Electrical switches, transformers (internal), Diodes, Capacitors, Wire harness, Wash & Spin motors, Gear box, Clutch Assy., Drum, Inner tub, Bellows, bearing & lip seal, Drain motor, Pump, Electrical valves, Buzzer, Suspension, Key Membrane, Remote-PCB.

• This AMC does not include any kind of software support or installations. LGEIL shall not be responsible for damage to, or loss of, any programs, data or removable storage media including any consequential loss or damage.
• All third party peripherals, whether purchased as a part of a system, or bundled with it, come with the prevailing agent’s warranty, and LGEIL makes no warranty whatsoever on their behalf. E,g. USBs, Printers , UPS, etc.
• This AMC will not be valid for any item not supplied or certified from LGEIL and covers the base configuration only shipped from LGEIL Factory. Any additions / alterations to hardware will not form part of AMC and will be chargeable to customer.
• LGEIL will repair / replace any defective parts and correct any problems resulting from workmanship free of charge. LGEIL reserves the right to use reconditioned parts with performance parameters equal to those of new parts in connection with any services performed under LGEIL’s warranty. Defective parts needs to be submitted to LGEIL or Authorized Service Center and becomes property of LGEIL.
• LGEIL’s liability under this AMC is limited to providing services and replacement of necessary parts as covered under this AMC. LGEIL will not be liable for damages, death, injuries, health or any consequential damages of whatsoever nature to any person or property by use or operation of the product. Maximum liability (direct and indirect) of LGEIL under this AMC will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for availing services under this Contract.
• Customer agrees that LGEIL may collect and process the data provided by the customer for the purpose of providing the services under this AMC.

F. Terms & Conditions for 1 Year Free Insurance:

You are entitled to a free insurance for 1 year that will be valid from the date of purchase as per the original invoice (Only if the product has been purchased from LG Brand Shop. Your registration number for this scheme is as per our records for the policy number Policy No: 4001/R/340547474/00/000
Under the insurance cover the LG product is protected only against theft, burglary, accidental damage and damage due to STFI (Storm, tempest, Flood inundation). Only select products are covered under this policy (except Mobiles, Laptops, TONE Free Earbuds). Please go through the terms and conditions for this scheme as mentioned below;

Not with standing anything contained herein, the Policy shall be subject to the terms and conditions mentioned therein, and the insured shall be bound by the same:

• Insurance available only on purchase from LG Brand Shop/ LG Exclusive shop.
• The terms and conditions are also available on the LG.com/in .
• Under the insurance cover, LG products are protected against: burglary, theft and accidental damage from dropping / falling of item insured itself or dropping/falling of other objects during installation or after installation. The cover is valid for a period of one year from date of purchase i.e invoice date
• The damage or loss of the item must be within 1 year (365 days) from the purchase date as per the original invoice. Policy covers room to room shifting (only single instance/transaction) with in the same premises where the product is originally installed subject to dismantling & re installation by LG Authorised Service centre Engineers. LG Authorised service centre Engineer’s’ Report is must in case of claim during such activity.
• Damage due to STFI (Storm, Tempest, Flood, Inundation) is covered
• Damage due to any sort of negligence are excluded.
• The installation of the product can be at a different address from the one specified on the invoice copy. However, the installation should happen within 30 days from the date of purchase by LG authorized service engineers.
• This scheme is not available if the product is installed after 30 days from the date of invoice or if the product is re-installed at any place. This Insurance cover is restricted to the address mentioned in the invoice or where the product shipped to the premises.
• Products covered under this insurance scheme are: All LG products bought from a LG Brand Shop/ LG Exclusive store except Mobile phones, laptops & TONE Free Earbuds.
• ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, reserves the right to replace/ repair or provide monetarily compensation for the item damaged/ lost up to a maximum of the value of item mentioned in the invoice. Claim Conditions: i) Only the original purchaser as per the invoice is eligible to make an insurance claim. Claims made by any other individual or entity will not be entertained.ii) An original invoice copy must be produced to process the claim. Iii) For theft or burglary cases, a First Information Report (FIR) copy filed under Section 303/309 is mandatory.
