What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Won't work on Windows 10 Loved this monitor until I updated my computer to Windows 10. They won't update the monitor so that it will go truly fullscreen. I have about an inch of a blacked out band around my whole picture. Now I have to either buy a different monitor or revert back to Windows 7 or 8.1...neither of those options sound good to me. I wish LG would just push out an update. I'd love to keep this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very good widescreen monitor. Excellent colours. Not a missing pixel. Great value for money. Have to say I have found absolutely nothing to complain about. Bought it on special offer from ebuyer. Would have bought 3 if I had known how good it was for the price, but they ran out of stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not only for multimedia I bought this monitor to replace an old and cheap 24" screen, which had no way to regulate the brightness, so it was a pain to read a text in the evening. The LG comes with a "reader mode", which I don't have to use very much. It is very comfortable to look at the screen for several hours, write or read long texts. I can't imagine the screen falling from the stand, my screen definitely came with screws (two on the top of the stand, one fixed screw underneath it). For the price you get a great screen for many purposes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome Everything the review before mine is true, with a couple exceptions. The quality is high, the color is great, and the price was very reasonable. The exception I was speaking of is the so called claim the stand is a flimsy 'slot in and go' stand. The Monitor DOES come with screws to keep the stand and monitor together. The previous review probably missed the baggie with the screws in them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Amazing - Until it broke. When I first got this behemoth out of the box I was amazed at the quality; And upon setting it up I was amazed by the clarity of the image. Films looked gorgeous, and games were bright, clear and crisp. The monitor itself was easy to set up and get started with. The split-screen software wasn't great though, and didn't really emulate several monitors, it just kind-of split it up and set 'snap' points for the positions of the windows, which became a nuisance. So, why 1 star? It's sat on the top of my wardrobe, broken, because of the flimsy stand it came with. The stand is just not meant to hold that kind of weight without screws (A similar model does come with screws; This one doesn't). This monitor is HEAVY, and the stand didn't even come with screws to secure it in place. It was 'slot in' and go, which is great until the monitor slips away from it. It's a real shame because I loved this monitor, but in two months it had slipped from the stand three times, and the third time was the nail in the coffin. I readjusted the stand each time to make sure it wouldn't happen again; I should have just returned it when I got the chance. If you plan to buy this, buy a proper stand or support to go with it and don't make the same mistake I did. I'm getting the screen fixed (Warranty doesn't cover it) then selling this monitor on. I will never buy from LG again.
