Gear Up For Victory

LG's UltraGear™ monitors are designed for immersive, high performance gaming.

Nano IPS with VESA DisplayHDR™ 400

Gaming Optimized

More accurate colour and a broader contrast ratio combine to deliver truly high-end picture quality. Makes bright and dark portions of the image even more so, while Nano IPS controls colour better, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space, the film industry standard.

*DCI-P3 was defined by the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) organization.

34" 21:9 UltraWide™ QHD

Maximum Immersion

The 3440 X 1440 UltraWide QHD display with outstanding clarity to ensure precise gaming. The monitor's pixel area is about 1.8 times larger than an UltraWide Full HD 21:9 monitor, and about 2.4 times larger than a Full HD 16:9 monitor.

*21:9 Screen or 3440 x 1440 (60Hz) resolution may not be available depending on content, device, interface or graphic card.

AMD Radeon
FreeSync™ 2

AMD Radeon FreeSync™ 2 enables smoother motion and less stuttering in demanding games. Now it's a plug-and-play solution for high dynamic range (HDR) content as well. This monitor supplies the low-latency, high-brightness pixels, superior black levels and the wide colour gamut that bring HDR games to life.

144HZ - 1ms Motion Blur Reduction

Experience smoother, clearer action during the most demanding games. The 144Hz refresh rate combined with a 1ms Motion Blur Reduction offer critical accuracy and precision while reducing blur and ghosting when it matters most.

*1ms Motion Blur Reduction causes lowered luminance and the following features cannot be used when activated: FreeSync and Dynamic Action Sync.

Dynamic Action Sync

Minimize input lag with Dynamic Action Sync so you can catch every single moment in real-time.

Black Stabilizer

LG's Black Stabilizer helps make dark scenes bright so it's easier to find the competition.

By placing the striking point in the center of the display, Crosshair helps enhance accuracy in first-person shooter games.

Ergonomic Design

Immersive Gaming Ambiance

The ultra-thin bezel on three sides of this streamlined display offers a virtually borderless visual experience, without distraction from the precise, gorgeous image. The monitor also enables more comfortable viewing with versatile screen tilt, height and swivel adjustments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Upgrade I had a 32" 1440p 144 monitor and I wanted a better viewing so I was looking for a 49". I ordered a 49" and found it to be to wide. So I started to go to reviews and found this monitor. I was happy that the other monitor failed. This monitor is great gives me everything I need.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An impressive & immersive upgrade !! After months of being on the fence with this monitor I finally made the purchase. I watched reviews Nov. 2018 & wanted this monitor from that point. In January I built a new pc & went to buy monitor only to find that retailers had jacked the prices up & in February they went up again. Out of spite I decided to wait. Probably the right decision but also the wrong as well. In July I noticed the prices were receding so I went ahead & made the purchase. I’ve had this now a couple weeks & I have to say that it’s everything I expected and then some. Only disappointment asides from pricing is the backlight bleed in lower & upper left corners(no dead pixels like others have claimed though)! But from what I’ve researched it’s the common gripe with ips displays. Not terribly noticeable in game unless it’s a really dark scene & you’re focused in on looking for it! That’s my only real complaint at this point. FreeSync works great with my EVGA RTX 2080 ftw3 ultra & resolution of display is just immersive to say the least! With that being said, there’s still my disappointment with price gauging from retailers & for the price I would’ve thought there’d be back lighting led. But all in all I love the product itself! At same time I’m writing this review I find out LG is releasing a 38” ultra wide......whatcha gonna do though? Always something new right around the corner anymore it seems! Gonna enjoy the LG34GK950f for now!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best 21:9 monitor even though no GSYNC I’d been watching the price of this monitor ever since it was released. But a $1199, it was too steep a slope to climb. However, when it was reduced to $799, I HAD to buy it. The picture is beautiful, even without HDR. The Nvidia drivers recognize the monitor as GSYNC COMPATIBLE. And they are so right; no tearing or artifacts or WORSE using my EVGA RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hybrid. I also have no dead pixels. LG has even sent out two firmware changes since I got it. I’m happy to finally have a 21:9 monitor and I’m doubly happy that the games look so good on it. A must-Buy for widescreen aficionados !!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful monitor Great colors, brightness is more than enough, factory settings are good, only problem is back light bleeding at the corners. Also, it should really come with a warranty longer then 1 year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! This is my first ultrawide monitor. Actually I got a good "open box" deal and happy with my purchase. I only used this for a couple of weeks and update if there's any major issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Specs Great Specs but the build quality compared to my other 4 LG monitors ultrawide I have this is subpar for the price. The plastic has too much flex and cheap texture feel to them. The screen very close to the edge which is greast when mating 2 or 3 together, but the plastic that surrounds and protects easily bends and flexes causing the screens I bought to have small cracks, maybe use metal instead. The material used to lay screen or glass is very fragile compare to my older LG monitors. The red circle design for the freesync model is useless, only works in gsync version. Great panel but HDR 400 is hardly noticeable at that level but it is a feature. Inputs and outputs has a good amount.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitive monitor This is exactly the monitor I've wanted since first getting heavily into PC gaming in early 2013. I've been playing on a 27 inch 1080 tv with a TN panel the whole time, always saying I wasn't gonna upgrade until there was an ultrawide 1440p monitor @144hz with an IPS panel, and later I also decided I wanted freesync support. Finally, 6 years later, I have the monitor I've always wanted, and I've gotta say, it's a monstrous upgrade from what I used to own. The colors are exceedingly vibrant, and even with the HDR being a very basic implementation it still makes a bit of difference in HDR content, only adding to the value proposition. Going from 1920x1080p to 3440x1440p is a massive increase in pixels of around 2.4X and it looks amazing in pretty much all games. Where previously I was using 4x AA in every game at minimum and 8x when available, now I either use 2x or turn it off completely. The only downside I can come up with to this monitor is that if you want to maintain that 144hz refresh rate in games, you're gonna have to turn settings down in a lot of newer games. I've got a gtx 1080 overclocked to around 1900mhz and I can maintain over 60fps in most games at high, but to hit over 100 I need to adjust an internal resolution scaler or turn down graphics settings. Regardless, the monitor itself is phenomenal, and I see it lasting me quite a few years.
