LG will Be Running the Following “Life’s Still Good” Christmas Campaign on Twitter and Facebook:
(1) Selected entrants’ submitted messages, photographs and videos will be displayed on LG Piccadilly Screen after the campaign period for at least once per day throughout the week.
(2) All selected messages, photographs and videos will be included in the final campaign video which will be played on the Piccadilly screen from the 21st of December (35 & 35A Coventry House, Haymarket, London, SW1Y 4HA).
Entrants must follow the criteria set out below, such as by uploading a “Life’s Still Good” messages, photographs and/or videos, which includes the @LG_UK tag and #LifesStillGood
Event Period: Entries can be made from 12pm on Thursday 10th December 2020 until 11:59pm Thursday 17th December 2020. Any entries made outside of this time are not eligible for this campaign.
Only open to those in the UK aged 18 or over, an Twitter account or a Facebook account is required. Please see the full terms and conditions below. 1. How to enter:
a. Facebook: Entrants must reply to the event posting with their “Life’s Still Good” Christmas messages, photographs or videos.
For a valid entry, the entrant should also include the following hashtags:

b. Twitter: Entrants must reply to the original Twitter post with their “Life’s Still Good” Christmas messages, photographs or videos.

Please note that submission of messages, photographs and videos does not guarantee selection. To be determined internally, a team will conduct a qualitative analysis on submissions, considering multiple factors (e.g. resolution of images, composition, colours etc).

4. No purchase necessary: The campaign is free to enter to all UK residents that meet the eligibility criteria set out in these terms and conditions.

5. Participation is only open to entrants residing in the UK and aged 18 or over. Internet access and a social media account are required.
6. By following the instructions provided in the campaign, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. All decisions regarding the selected entries are final. No correspondence will be entered into by LG or the Administrator.
7. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries, as well as entries sent through agencies and third parties or by means other than Twitter or Facebook will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries. If LG or the Administrator believes that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, LG or the Administrator will, at their sole discretion, be entitled to cancel selected entries without notice in accordance with these terms and conditions.
8. The selected entrants may be expected to participate in LG publicity related to the campaign. The name, general location, and full or partial posted contents may be published on LG.com, LG social media sites and LG Piccadilly screen (35 & 35A Coventry House, Haymarket, London, SW1Y 4HA). This could include any texts, photographs, and videos submitted by the entrants as a part of the campaign.
9. You will retain ownership of all intellectual property rights (including copyright) in your entry, but you agree to grant us a licence to use it for any purpose connected to this promotion.
The licence will last for the duration of the relevant intellectual property right and includes the right for us to:
• edit or modify your entry (including resizing, adjusting the colour and adding elements such as text);
• adapt it or incorporate it into other materials; sub-licence it to third parties or companies in our group to use for the purposes described herein; and
• republish it (or any version modified in the way described herein) on any media anywhere in the world.
You confirm that your entry:
• is your own original work and does not breach any third party’s intellectual property rights (for example, by including a company’s trade mark without permission);
• is not defamatory, offensive, threatening, discriminatory, distasteful, pornographic or illegal;
• can be submitted to us and used without breaching any contractual obligation to any person; and does not contain anything which may be confidential or commercially sensitive.
• If your entry contains photographs or video images of people, you must ensure that you inform them that you intend to use the material for the purposes of this promotion and obtain their consent. We may ask you for evidence of any such consent and reserve the right to disqualify your entry if you are unable to provide it or if we have doubts about its adequacy.
You are not entitled to any fees for granting the licence and you are not entitled to terminate it unless we agree in writing.
10. LG acts as data controller as defined in UK data protection legislation (including the Data Protection Act 2018 and where applicable the General Data Protection Regulation). LG agrees to comply with its obligations under data protection legislation. In particular, LG and/or the Administrator will hold all personal data securely and use it solely for the purposes of administering the campaign as set out in these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with the CAP Code. 11. Liability: Save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, LG cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by an entrant as a result of entering the campaign.
12. Amendment/Cancellation: LG reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or to amend, suspend, withdraw or cancel the campaign at any time and without prior notice.
13. Governing law: The campaign is governed by the Laws of England and Wales and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any disputes which may arise out of, under or in connection with it.
