LG Electronics India Limited (LGEIL) has been honoured with 10 wins at DIGIT India's Top Appliance Awards 2026, held at a gala ceremony in New Delhi in August 2026. The scale of the win — spanning air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, kitchen appliances and air purifiers — makes it one of the strongest showings by any single brand at this year's awards.

What Makes this Win Special?

What sets this recognition apart is the process behind it. DIGIT India's Top Appliance Awards, an initiative by Times Network and presented by digit.in, India's oldest technology media brand with over 25 years of authority in independent product testing, was built on India's first strictly data-driven evaluation mechanism for the home appliance category. Rather than a consumer-voted popularity contest, it is a rigorous, lab-first process: every nominated product is tested inside DIGIT's state-of-the-art laboratories in Mumbai and Noida, benchmarked against a matrix of over 150 technical parameters ranging from thermal imaging diagnostics to the entire customer support cycle. This technical scoring is then reviewed by an independent expert jury panel, whose oversight forms the final layer of evaluation before winners are selected.

LG Electronics Awarded Across Categories

The awards span 36+ appliance categories and are amplified across DIGIT's editorial ecosystem, which reaches over 40 million consumers monthly across digital, video, print and social platforms. The jury comprised Tarun Pathak, Research Director, Counterpoint Research; Navkendaa Singh, AVP IDC and Manas Tiwari, Technology Editor, Times Network, along with senior members of DIGIT's editorial team, who assessed nominated products on the basis of laboratory testing data, real-world usability, and innovation relevance to Indian consumers.

The ceremony was graced by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (PP/DoPT), and Atomic Energy & Space, as Chief Guest, alongside Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, as the second Chief Guest of the evening.

LG's Winning Line-Up

In air conditioning, the LG DUALCOOL AI Convertible AC (AS-Q20JWZE) was named Best 5-Star Split Air Conditioner. It carries a 5.77 ISEER rating with AI Convertible 6-in-1 cooling and a DUAL Inverter compressor, cools in temperatures up to 55°C, and uses Energy Manager+ and ThinQ to optimise power use.

Refrigeration brought two wins. The LG GV-K25FFGFB was named Best French Door Refrigerator, featuring InstaView knock-twice glass, 610L capacity, a non-plumbing auto ice maker, DoorCooling+ and full ThinQ Wi-Fi control. The LG GLD2156ZHSL, a 5-star rated 201L single-door unit with a Smart Inverter Compressor and Auto Smart Connect that keeps food fresh during power cuts, won Value for Money (Single Door).

Washing machines also secured two wins. The LG FX1412A9K was named Best Front Load Washing Machine its AI Direct Drive 2.0 detects fabric weight, type, soil level and chooses suitable wash pattern from 20,000+ data points to give the best wash performance; 12kg capacity with Digital Dial, ezDispense, TurboWash 360° and ThinQ Wi-Fi

The LG WashTower (FWT1310BG) won Best Stackable Washing Machine Its Space-saving unibody design combines 13kg washer and 10kg dryer into a single unit, with AI Direct Drive and a centralized touch control panel.

On the entertainment front, the LG OLED G6 Series (OLED65G6PLA) was named Best OLED TV, OLED evo panel with Alpha 11 AI Processor 4K Gen3, Reflection Free Premium technology, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and up to 165Hz VRR

In the kitchen category, the LG DFB335HM was named Best Dishwasher, LG premium 15 Place setting Dishwasher comes with True steam™ technology to melt away tough grease and QuadWash™ ensures cleaning of utensils from every angle. It is suitable for upto 92 Indian Utensils per cycle to handle Indian Kitchen Load.

Microwave ovens brought two wins: the LG 32L Charcoal Convection Microwave (MJEN326UHWF) won Value for Money (Convection/Grill), Convection MWO - LG’s Convertible microwave oven simplifies daily cooking with 431 menus tailored for Indian homes and Wi-Fi connectivity, all for under ₹30,000.

The LG MS3032BK (30L) was named Best Solo Microwave, LG 30 L Solo Microwave Oven with Glass Door, i-wave technology, Anti-Bacteria Cavity ensures easy cooking and reheating

Rounding out the list, the LG Puricare 360 Alpha Pet Air Purifier
Model No. AS10GDBY0 was named Best Air Purifier 360-degree air intake with H13 HEPA filtration, 810m³/h CADR, dedicated pet care mode and UV-C sterilization that eliminates 99.99% allergy causing bacteria and viruses.
