Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent audio and 3D effect. I bought this system 3 years ago used, at that time i did not know what is the difference between 9.1 and 5.1. So i bought it 3 years ago for £400 and that was the best decision i made. Recently i went to the cinema to watch the new Avengers Endgame in Dolby Atmos, i personally think i would enjoy the movie more at home. The LG BH... 9.1 cinema gets so loud at +1450w i never max the volume, if i max the volume then only on weekends.

The eternal "please wait" problem....the only solution is to change the mother board, but surprise!! the motherboard can't be ordered, not even the oficial service can not source down the drain, for the "top"home theater of is time...what a pooor customer service from LG...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DOLBY ATMOS, PLEAASE UPDATE!!!! Two years passed and I am completly amazed by this product. There are a few things I noticed for example by running my Xbox one over the TV HDMI-Port and getting Sound via ARC from the system you only get Stereo PCM 2.0 which is really sad to choose which one of my consoles is allowed to get full DTS. Then the thing with DOLBY is such a great system and totally worth every money I spend on this and able to play even 7.1 TrueHD so why not completing it by bringing ATMOS to it? Actually I first noticed it, as the Xbox One got DOLBY ATMOS last year and i were not able to choose it. I thought the home theatre was running ATMOS already. Would be great to give us the Update, even if it says "Discontinued Product" sad mate... But all in all a great product and easy to set up and use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good speaker system I have had these for a few years now and the sound is brilliant. The only negative I can say is that sometimes the system messes up and I have to start and stop the player. I have connected it via hdmi and via an optical cable. 99% of the time it works fine but that 1 time in a hundred I turn on the tv and no sound comes out. Because I have an LG tv it automatically turns on when I turn the tv on and I can control the sound through my tv remote or sky remote. Also the only other niggle is that if I have a blueray or dvd in from the previous night then it will keep trying to play that instead of just working as a sound system when I am trying to watch sky.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problems playing BluRay discs This is the 3rd unit I've had and I thought the last replacement had done the trick but I was wrong. I have 3 LG BluRay players - this, the most hi spec has caused problems which have now reappeared. 3 Units in 18 months can't be right. The one I currently have is certainly less than a year old. Brand new Bluray discs and old ones - the same message - check disc!!!!! They immediately play on the other units. Standard DVDs I have to load a number of times on occasions before the Disc is recognised. So frustrating because when it works it is amazing. Anyone got any suggestions - otherwise another repair ticket will need to be raised.
