Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid tv, terrible burn in issues. I’ve had this tv for just over a year, I use this tv for all kinds of media, Sky, Netflix, Amazon, etc. I also game, which was one of the reasons I bought this tv due to the advertising stating how good it is with OLED TVs. I work full time so tv and gaming sessions are limited and not excessive. Whilst watching Goals on Sunday I noticed a static image on the red sofa, turns out to be the hud from a game called Destiny. I ran a few tests and low and behold, permanent burn in. I followed LG’S manual and made sure all the screen savers, pixel refreshers were active. I bought from John Lewis with 5 year guarantee and on contacting them I was told I was not covered for image retention or burn in. After extensive research on the internet, it seems that I am not alone. I also own a LG E6 and on running tests on that the burn in is even worse, all parts of the screen. Before you buy, checkout tv forums for more information, I will not be buying an OLED tv again as they clearly not fit for purpose as they advertise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A worthy upgrade from Plasma TV Have been on the fence with regard to the new OLED's as my Panasonic Plasma gives such good pictures. However so glad I made the move, feed the TV some good dolby vision and atmos and the OLED's add so much more depth then my Plasma could. The soundbar is okay, it doesn't match my 120Watt Yamaha, but does the job with the Atmos sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OLED reigns supreme Reviewed plenty of models, before opting for the LG E7. I’ve had this TV for about 2 months and am 100% pleased with the overall performance and look. Firstly I must say I’m not experiencing any problems with TV losing its settings as detailed by previous reviewer ! TV Design: Nothing but sumptuous and elegant. Looks slick and sleek, the picture on glass is something to be truly admired. Picture Quality: This is truly an evolution of picture quality, what LCD did for CRT, then LED. OLED 4K HDR UHD, is the next generation in pure picture quality enjoyment. Blacks, are immensely black, colours are rich and deep, contrast is sharp and that’s out of the box settings. You have so many different settings to personalise picture quality to your liking. Interstellar on 4K is amazing, the detail, dark space scenes are crystal clear and imagery I never saw before on my previous LED TV. At night due to its design, the TV is just a black frame, then it bursts into life when you start watching a film, just like in the Cinema! Sound Quality : Great integrated sound bar which gives a good performance in sound. Not outstanding, but there’s a reason the home cinema market is blowing up ! Connection : I have an Apple 4K TV and Virgin V6 box connected via Monster 1200 HDex HDMI cable . Overall, I cannot recommend this TV enough. With the current redemption offer, makes it a no brainer, however I would’ve still purchased it with out the offer. Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, PCM and upscaling plus a whole host of other features, this will give you and family endless hours of enjoyment l

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this tv less than two weeks ago (Jan 18). When I turn off the TV at night time and then turn it back on in the morning all the stored programs are gone. You have to go through the re-tuning process to allow you to watch programs again. The re-tuning is not as easy as other TV's I have had.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is it really worth the money ? Bought this 55 inch OLEDE7N tv in September and it was working great loved that I could watch all the catch-up I wanted ? Until two weeks ago the itv Hub started playing up and I have since done a reset and re installed all the apps I want but ITV Hub still keeps giving a message of Opps looks like something is not right all the other apps work fine ! The sound is not as good as my Sony Tv shame about that as this tv cost almost 3 times as much for very little difference if you are only watching terrestrial Tv

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stunning picture, but....... We have had the OLED 55 E7N for a month. Picture quality is stunning. Sound is a bit disappointing given the hype - certainly not surround sound, and you need to fiddle with the settings to get the best. Problems so fare: It was advertised with 6 months free Netflix, which wasn't supplied. It took several calls and a couple of weeks to get an access code. Also, the remote was faulty - voice commands didn't work, and the sound balancing feature also. We had to return it to LG and are still waiting for a replacement (apparently the guy dealing with it has been on holiday) and we are having to manage using the Sky remote, so can't use many of the features
