What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Looking Tv Design Yet I have had this tv for the best part of a year, and I have to say there has been many tv's from LG and other manufacturers since but the design of this is still unbeaten. The G8 really is a big step back in terms of design in my opinion, with LG only changing the design to make it different not to improve it in any way. Yes you can get the same picture on the cheaper series but that's not the point of OLED, its to show how slim a tv can be and the other model are thick about half the way down so what's the point they should just make it slimmer overall rather than halving a massive protrusion from the middle down; they really don't show OLED design properly, if you want to show OLED off properly you need this or the W series as they are slim all the way down to the bottom. The picture is amazing, once you see an OLED tv on a day to day basis and then view anything other than OLED it looks like your viewing a black and white tv. The tv has a Hugh array of support for HDR, whether you're streaming, or feeding the signal via HDMI. It really has everything you need. The smart system really is the best on the market and the remotes look as good as the tv. A little disappointed LG are not updating this signature model with things like airplay; even though all that takes is a software update.
