What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it because of BOOT LOOP It's a good phone while it lasts. If your warranty expires you have to pay for reparation even though the boot loops is their fault. The internet is full of reviews and articles about this malfunction but they don't care.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Purchased Nexus X5 = Money Wasted First LG Nexus 5X worked for about a year and a half then encountered a start up Boot issues. LG manufacturers were unable to assist as it was out of warranty. Repair from independent retail is substantially high, almost 3/4 of original price. After visiting various online sites, like myself many other owners have had or are having this very same issue. Second LG Nexus 5X worked for about 6 months (brought this second one as I really liked the first phone) and now has encountered a SIM network related issues. Online forums are no help at all and after visiting half a dozen mobile retailers + LG UK online for solution's still no luck at all. Independent retailers have put a repair price of around £100 for this issue. Having commenting the above, the phone is a nice looking device, reasonable light weight and fair amount of tech/features. Now, based on my experience, I would not buy or recommend to anyone any LG or Nexus mobile phone now or in future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing phone except for inherent hardware failure I bought my Nexus 5X through Google about 2 years ago; last night it developed the infamous 'Bootloop of death', which I have since learned is an irreparable hardware issue. Now I have a very sleek, expensive paperweight in otherwise mint condition. Unlucky for me, I missed out on the class-action lawsuit taken against LG by affected customers last year, which offered refunds/rebates. In other words, DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE. Based on my research they have a maximum lifespan of around 30 months before core components die. Until this point, it was a great device.
