Your kitchen decides whether you need a freestanding or an integrated dishwasher. Check the space you have first, then compare the series within that type.
Stands on its own in a 60 cm gap at the end of a run of units, with a finished front and its own worktop. Choose this if your kitchen has an open slot, or if you may take the machine with you when you move.
Slides into a 60 cm cabinet opening and takes a door panel matching your kitchen, so it disappears into the run of units. Choose this if your kitchen was built with a dishwasher housing.

This lineup is provided as a reference to the key features across the series. Actual specifications and options may vary by model.
Every model is a 60 cm full-size dishwasher with 13 to 15 place settings. These are the four things that differ.

How quiet it runs
A 9 dBA spread across the range, from 37 dBA on the coming-soon DBGT836R. Below 44 dBA is worth paying for in an open-plan kitchen.

Energy class
The widest gap in the lineup. The same load costs noticeably more to wash at the bottom of the range.

Carry TrueSteam™
Steam loosens baked-on food and cuts pre-rinsing. It is the clearest feature split in the range.

Eco runs long and cool to save energy. The quickest Eco here is under four hours, the longest nearly seven.
The energy label rates a dishwasher from A to G on the Eco programme, and declares the water it uses per cycle. Both figures on this page come from that label.

Series 2 (DF030FL, The essentials) has 13 place settings, an Express 30-minute cycle and Half Load and 3 in 1 options, with energy class E and 46 dBA. Series 3 (DF355FP, Quiet and connected) has QuadWash™, an Inverter DirectDrive™ Motor, ThinQ™ Wi-Fi and Auto Opening Door, with 14 place settings, energy class C and 41 dBA. Series 5 (DF273FVS freestanding, DB273TX integrated, Efficiency and steam) has energy class A and partially foldable upper and lower racks, with TrueSteam™ and a Refresh cycle on the freestanding DF273FVS. Series 6 (DFGF624V freestanding, DBGT634R integrated, Smarter cleaning) is coming soon, with energy class A and 42 dBA; DFGF624V has top touch controls, QuadWash™ Pro, AI Sense Clean and 1-Hour Wash & Dry, and DBGT634R is panel ready, with a fixed hinge, QuadWash™ and LG ThinQ™ Wi-Fi. Series 7 (DF587HMS, Design and flexibility) has hidden top controls in Matte Black, fully foldable upper and lower racks, a height-adjustable 3rd rack and TrueSteam™, with energy class A and 43 dBA. Series 8 (DBGT836R integrated) is coming soon: panel ready, with a sliding hinge, 15 place settings, energy class A, 37 dBA, TrueSteam™, QuadWash™ and LG ThinQ™ Wi-Fi.
Let the space in your kitchen decide. A freestanding model stands on its own in a 60 cm gap with a finished top and sides, and can move with you. An integrated model slides into a cabinet opening built for a dishwasher and needs a compatible cabinet door, supplied separately, so it blends in with your units; LG currently offers one, DB273TX, with DBGT634R and DBGT836R coming soon.
Three of the eight models in the range have TrueSteam™: DF273FVS (Series 5, freestanding), DF587HMS (Series 7) and the upcoming integrated DBGT836R. The Series 2 DF030FL and the integrated Series 5 DB273TX do not.
Six models are rated A: DF273FVS and DB273TX (Series 5), DF587HMS (Series 7), and the upcoming DFGF624V and DBGT634R (Series 6) and DBGT836R (Series 8, A-10%). DF355FP (Series 3) is class C and DF030FL (Series 2) is class E.
The coming-soon integrated DBGT836R (Series 8) is the quietest at 37 dBA. Of the models on sale, DF355FP (Series 3, freestanding) is the quietest at 41 dBA. The coming-soon DFGF624V (Series 6) and integrated DBGT634R run at 42 dBA, DF587HMS (Series 7) at 43 dBA, Series 5 at 44 dBA and DF030FL (Series 2) at 46 dBA, all measured on the Eco programme.
All models except the Series 2 DF030FL have both. DF030FL has neither, even though its LG.com UK product name mentions QuadWash™.
