What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK Graphics lacks power The graphics is OK for the price it's a values. The lack of power using the USB-C to the laptop is not enough. It's great to use a single cable and running a MacBook Pro with an external SSD the power from the USB is not enough. Battery still drains. If you are prepared to have good value graphics and use another USB-C port for the power I can recommend this monitor. If you wanting to use additional accessories when running and using the USB-C to supply the power sadly it's not enough. I purchased this as I was informed that Apple monitors are a rebranded LG and thought they LG would like up to that reputation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor backlight quality on an expensive monitor I thought buying the middle tier monitor in the 32" LG range would ensure I got a good quality screen. Whilst it's great that it hasn't come with any dead pixels or stuck ones, I noticed when watching movies or playing games the brightened corners were really distracting and bad. It looks like the quality control in the factory isn't working well because when I squeeze the corners the light bleed disappears so it seems this is an issue that could be fixed, but it's probably not an issue for LG. If I didn't need a replacement monitor I would have waited to see what Dell would have released as I do like the super thin bezels and the joystick controller on the bottom for the menu control. Another negative for me was the fact that the inputs and connectors on the back stick out at 90 degrees from the monitor, making it very difficult for you to wall mount, or place the monitor near the wall where my desk is, which means the monitor has to sit closer to me. The inputs are right at the level where the VESA mounts are, so if you have an arm it will interfere with the cables and limit the movement you can place the monitor in. Apart from that the monitor is nice overall, and I have had no other issues since purchasing. Hopefully it will last me a long time but I plan to replace it when I see an alternative only because of the backlight bleed problem.
