Troubleshooting Device Connection Issues
If you experience any of the problems below while using the product, please check the
following.
There may not be a problem with the product.
The screen remains blank after it is connected to a PC.
- Check that the PC is properly connected to the TV.
- Turn the TV off and back on using the remote control.
- Restart the PC with the TV on.
- Make sure that the output resolution set on the PC is set to the HDMI-PC supported resolution of the TV.
- To use dual monitors, check that the PC or notebook supports dual-monitor mode.

- If you have connected the RGB output port of your PC to the
HDMI IN of your TV, you need an RGB to HDMI gender.
You will not see anything on the screen if you use an HDMI to RGB gender.
The screen is not fully shown or is lopsided when connected to a PC.
Set the PC’s resolution to one supported by the TV.
-
Set the connected HDMI device's name to PC.
-
Run Home Hub by pressing the Input select button on the remote control.
-
Select Option Icon Edit Inputs in the upper right corner.

Change the icon of the HDMI port connected to Inputs to PC and select Save.
If the video graphic card on your PC supports HDR streaming, whether operating Windows 10 or 11, chances are the HDMI Deep Color (HDR) feature is set to “ON” (default settings) in your Windows Display settings.
Customers who do not wish to operate their TV with HD Deep Color automatically ENABLED when switching TV input to PC need to DISABLE the HDR feature on their computer.
Windows 11 Instructions
Start ➔ Settings ➔ System ➔ Display ➔ Turn “ Use HDR ” OFF.
Windows 10 Instructions
Start ➔ Settings ➔ System ➔ Display ➔ Windows HD Color Settings
Select your TV as the display you wish to DISABLE HDR (Deep Color).
Under Display capabilities, check whether
it
says Yes next to Use HDR. Turn “ Use HDR ” OFF.
Other customers have further reported similar from different connected peripheral devices claiming the HDMI Ultra HD Deep color function keeps switching itself automatically on.
In order to prevent such occurrence, please avoid placing an HDMI buffer/hub between the HDMI Ultra HD Deep color supported device and the television.
Whether your hub/buffer is an HDMI splitter box or an audio video receiver to which all your audio video input sources are connected, some Ultra HD Deep color supported and those not, the HDMI CEC (consumer electronics control) will prioritize Ultra HD Deep Color even if there is ONLY ONE SINGLE device out of all HDMI peripherals connected at the back of the receiver supports it.
Separate your HDMI peripherals hook-up between the AV receiver and the television. Connect Ultra HD Deep color devices to the TV and all others to the receiver. Ensure to make good use of the ARC/eARC HDMI connection at the back of the TV by hooking it up to the receiver so that you can take full advantage of your receiver’s surround sound regardless of the signal source.
