Why Your LG Dryer Buttons Not Work and Won'T Start Though It Has Power

  Buttons on the control panel have stopped working

This is more than likely down to the activation of the 'Button Lock' function.

What is the Button Lock (CL) function?
It is a function to lock the panel so that a child can't operate the dryer.

How to clear Child Lock:

Press ‘Favorite’ and ‘Delay End’ buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds to clear the button lock.
After that, press some other buttons to check whether buttons work normally.

- Note

1) If the button lock function is set during the operation, an alarm would sound and remaining drying time and 'CL' are repeatedly displayed on the display window.

2) Once it is set, 'Button Lock' function is maintained even after the power is turned off and turned back on again.

 
Use the dryer after clearing the 'Button Lock' function.
