It is recommended that you change the "air filter" of your LG Refrigerator. Make sure you replace your air filter regularly to keep the air in your refrigerator fresh.

You should replace your air filter:
- Every 6 months
- When the "Replace filter" indicator is on.
It is also good to replace the air filter if the odour persists in the refrigerator.
Locate the air filter cover on your refrigerator. Twist the filter cover to the left to detach the cover from the refrigerator wall.
The filter is located inside the air filter cover.
1. Remove the filter by simply pressing the side of the filter inwards and pull the filter out.
2. Replace the old filter with a new filter that says "front facing" outwards.
