Adding too much detergent can create excessive suds, which may prevent proper rinsing. Using liquid or natural detergents can produce more suds than standard HE powder detergent, potentially affecting rinse performance. Adding more rinse cycles can effectively remove excess suds.
Try this.
If you're concerned about excessive suds, using fabric softener is recommended. Fabric softener neutralizes suds.
How to Clean the Detergent Drawer
Detergent residue can clog the detergent drawer and restrict water flow. Clean the drawer regularly to prevent overflows or leaks. Disassemble the components and clean them with lukewarm water, a soft brush, and a cloth.
1. Gently press the fabric softener cap and pull it forward to remove it.
2. Clean the detergent drawer and its housing thoroughly with a toothbrush, then reinsert the drawer.
3. For optimal performance, clean the detergent drawer about once a week.
