What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful TV Got this TV to be 4K ready. It has a lot of very nice features in the visual and audio areas, very adaptable. Easy to use, there is nothing I can think of that needs to be added to this TV. One small gripe is the remote control has an Amazon button on it, would be nice to reprogram it for EBAY.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really disappointed with this TV I bought this TV based on its specifications. It does underperform for the hardware. The black bars appear super grey when your watching a movie with the lights off. The tv stuggles with displaying the settings menu quickly. Also for example if you turn the TV off whilst watching Netflix, when you turn the TV back on, it will turn on displaying netfix again, you have to manually return to live tv, very very poor. It has Harmon Kardon speakers, but they dont perform like Harmon Kardon's. Sound quality not that great. I bought this for our guest room, so I'm not to upset. I have other brand TV''s that are older which will knock the socks off this one, even the profile on them are far slimmer. The pictures on the website made it look slim, I'm underwhelmed by this TV. The.performce could be a simple fix for LG by giving it a decent software update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!! I Bought this TV yesterday from currys and am so happy with it, it has amazing picture quality and a user friendly software. I love the silver base (looks alot more posh) and the settings as it is very customisable and can make it exactly how you want it. The only downside is that it comes with an only 1 year warranty, but LG tvs are supposed to last a long time. Overall great TV

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for money I purchased this product about 6 months ago and am very pleased with the picture quality - which was the primary reason for purchase. The sound is also pretty good from internal speakers and coupled to a surround home cinema setup is great for our non acoustically perfect lounge. The only slight downside is on the speed of response when changing inputs or even channels. The unit seems to lack sufficient memory or "clout" but this is a minor concern. In summary, very pleased with the unit and its features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Quality! Bought this t as it was brand new for December according to currys, has a production date on back saying Decemeber 2017! Got it home, set it up, and the picture quality is unreal, so clear 4k is even better where suported for tv shows games etc, while gaming im even more impressed, clean fresh design, lightweight and for a 43" tv vs my old 55" it fills the space nicely the sound is clear paired with the sound bar its quality! so many settings im still learning and improving it the longer i have it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great TV for the money Hi, To be honest I never considered LG to be superior to Samsung ... looks like I was wrong. After returning 2 Samsung MU6102K TV's each having problems with image quality ( blue tint on dark images, judder, poor quality sound ) I decided to give this LG a try. Received this product and installed it. Upon closer attention I could see the excelent build quality, metal frame, metal back plate, good quality plasitc, something that the Samsung lacked. I can say that it was love at first sight. Turning the TV on and setting it up was a joy. Directly opened the web browser and loaded the test image, the same image used on the above Samsung TV's. The image quality was great, something you cannot even compare. ( see first attached photo, the blue-ish image is from the Samsung Tv ). Navigation is very good and picture quality is perfect. Sound is also a joy to listen to. Overall I am very satisfied. The only downside I can found is the web browser. The one present on the Samsung was way faster, but I have a computer if I want to browse the web. Anyway, that was the only downside I could find till now. Keep up the good job, you got yourselves a new satisfied customer. P.S: for those who think that the blue-ish tint was a calibration / color profile issue, you are wrong. Getting rid of the blue tint, would mess with other colors :) That picture was taken fter factory reseting the TV to default settings. Best regards, Robert

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No Local dimming, not 100% 4K, low nits I bought this TV because it appeared to have all the features i was looking for in a TV: - less than 45" - 4K - HDR - Local Dimming - netflix/amazon - WiFi At the end i'm quite satisfied with the product, but: - 4K is not a real 4K: it's 2880 subpixels RGB and 960 White per row. not noticeable during normal TV viewing, anyway - the local dimming is available only for 55"+; 43" and 49" doesn't have it. Pros: - price - HDR10/HLG - resolution (even if not "pure", it's good) - sound - connectivity - customisation Cons: - no Local dimming (the black appears like a dark grey) - max brightness limited (less than 400nits, the minimum for a real HDR effect) At the end, for this price there was probably nothing better, this is the reason for the 4 stars.
