What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this tv 30 months ago and the picture went awry. I had an engineer around to look at it and also contacted LG about it. Sent photos of the picture on screen to LG and they agreed with the engineer I had called that the tv needed a new master board and that repairing it would cost £500.00 approx. I can buy a new tv for that. The tv cost £600.00 when I bought it and would expect it to last longer 30 months. So I scrapped it and vowed never to buy LG again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very smart for a Smart TV. Poor OS and apps Reasonable screen, but poor contrast handling. Poor OS support, with few decent apps and a browser that is very basic and bordering on useless rubbish. Browser is ncompatible with so many major sites and technologies like Flash (yeah, some sites still use it) and no support for CSS Grid layouts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pairing with Universal Remote Recently purchased a Bose Cinema system to go with the TV, bit frustrated because I cannot pair up the Universal Remote Control with the TV, the code provided by Bose doesn't work, the codes I got from an Internet search also don't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from All the Talk but no real action big talk about webOS platform but thats irrevelant as its out on its own - not integraying with anything else. Cant upscale for nuts. App store is rubbish. Cant connect to media service. Cant configure sufficiently to get rid of rubbish componants/apps/features. Like being stuck with Carriers apps on a mobile phone. Should have bought another brand

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would be great if only . . This TV would be great if it worked perfectly, there is one problem that I have encountered time and time again on playback of things via iplayer, On demand and ITV catch up. When you are watching the programme the TV tends to lose some frames and its like its playing in slow motion, I even went to the extent of changing internet provider as I thought it was the bandwith for downloading, and also bought a top of the range router hoping that would cure the problem. But no it did not. Numerous updating of the TV software has not cured it either. Its so frustrating when watching TV to encounter the slow framing of a programme which you are engrossed in watching. Please resolve this issue LG
