Safety Reminders on How to Handle TV Properly to Prevent Damage on the Box and Screen

Below are some general precautions you should take into account.

 

Carry the TV in an upright position and ensure there are 2 people to assist when carrying larger TV’s.

A single person lifting the TV may crack the panel.

 

Do NOT let the TV fall over otherwise the panel may crack.

Packaging allows for some impact, but preventing the TV from falling is the best option.

 

Do NOT pull the TV box at the handle. This can cause box damage.

It will also reduce the integrity of the box making the TV susceptible to unit damage.

 

Transport the TV in an upright position and

ensure TV is secure to prevent tipping.

 

Do NOT transport the TV on its end.

Packaging is not designed to support TV in this position and the panel may crack.

 

Do NOT transport the TV in an unsafe manner.

During movement the TV can become unstable and tip over causing damage to the box and the panel.

 

Transport the TV in an upright position and

ensure TV is secure to prevent tipping.

 

Do NOT under any circumstances transport the TV laying down.

Packaging is not designed to support TV in this position and the panel may crack.

 

Do NOT lift the TV out of the box with fingers on the panel.

The panel may crack under the pressure.

 

Do NOT put fingers on the panel when installing or moving the TV.

Panel may crack.

 

Do NOT carry the TV inappropriately.

The panel may crack as a result.
